Authors

In March 2012, this LibGuide was authored by Christopher Tucker, a current member of the Gould Law Library Reference Office staff, and Christine Morton, JD, MLS, when she was a Reference Librarian at the Gould Law Library.

Introduction

This guide is intended to provide a list of legal fiction books which were first published between 2000 and 2012. An ideal user of the guide might be someone who is interested in reading legal fiction novels or teaches a Law and Literature course in a law school or other institution of higher learning.

In order to create this bibliography, a search was first conducted on OCLC (Online Computer Library Center) under the subject heading "Legal Stories" and then the result list was reviewed in order to determine the relevancy of the results. Subsequently, many of the items that were retrieved through OCLC were cross-checked with online websites, such as BarnesandNoble.com and amazon.com.
