Reference
The Reference desk is located on the first floor of the library, adjacent to the circulation desk. A team of professional law librarians is available to assist you during library hours. The following is list of some of the ways we can support you:
Circulation
Library materials may be checked out for two weeks at the Circulation Desk on the main floor of the library with your validated Touro Student ID card. However, many library materials are non-circulating and must be used within the library.
Occasionally, professors will place books or materials on reserve at the Circulation Desk. Students may find materials reserved for a course – under the professor’s or course’s name – through the Gould Law Library Catalog. Students may borrow these materials for in-house use for two hours. Valid identification is required to check out all materials from the library.
Circulating materials may be renewed unless another person has requested them. Reserve items may be renewed unless another person has requested them, except when professors have given special instructions. Renewals must be made in person at the Circulation Desk. The library reserves the right to recall any item that has been requested by another library user.
